5 cm per second Friday, November 7, 2008 One of the most beautiful things you'll ever see. The imagery is the best. The story is also nice. This 3 part 1 hour subtitled Japanese anime drama movie was referred to me by Kane. [ click to watch trailer ] Sometimes it's interesting trying to make an artistic filter between vision & thoughts to try and look at the world this way too. Artistic is a vague word, but that's the only word I can think of. I especially loved the scenery of the snow & the train. Having been there & done that it felt somewhat nostalgic. Wouldn't it be beautiful, though, to be in a train that's passing by in the middle of no where in such a snow storm? Stopping there because the train won't move. Killing time. With some friends, or someone you love, or both. During the night. A memory to last a life time. Well anyway, allot of things would be beautiful but things aren't that way in real life, are they. Some day this year when I have the time I'll study blends of color & light and paint images based on thoughts inspired by movies like this & many other things. Hm...
